Brett Finestone holds a BA and LLB degrees from Rhodes University.
He is a qualified advocate (ex member of the Cape Bar) and currently a practicing attorney in the Cape division.
He has represented local and international clients, private and institutional, in the provision of litigious and commercial services.
He specializes in the commercial get up and compliance of companies, in deal structuring and commercial contract drafting.
He has advised and acted on behalf of institutional clients including commercial and private banks, insurance companies and publishing houses.
In 2005 he facilitated the sale of the South African publishing operation of Highbury House Communications PLC to Management and the subsequent on-sale of the operation in a BEE transaction to RMB - Corvest and Safika Trust , trading as Highbury Safika (Pty) Limited.
